[Update] Selection 29er World and European Championships 2021

The 29er World and European Championships 2021 will take place in Aarhus (WC) and Valencia (EC) in August. Depending on the health situation in these host countries, it is possible that the number of entries will be restricted. The International 29er Class Association has prepared contingency plans for multiple scenarios and requested all National Class Associations (NCA) to provide a ranking list until May 15th. 

The Swiss 29er Association will follow the selection criteria as defined in our competition regulation from 2011 (updated in 2019). These criteria are based on the running national ranking, considering each sailors six best results from 12 months before the selection deadline. This means in particular that the upcoming CSP/PM in Morges will play an important role in the final selection. 

To make the process as transparent as possible, we published the current ranking today and we will update it after the CSP/PM in Morges. For further questions don’t hesitate to contact Felix president@29er.ch or Camillo regatta@29er.ch.

Please make sure, you register for the World Championship in Aarhus or the European Championship in Valencia as soon as possible, if you intend to participate.
